How do I book a property?
Browse our listings at AustinVacay.com, select your dates and number of guests, and book directly through our secure checkout. You can also contact us if you need help finding the right property.

Why should I book direct instead of through Airbnb or VRBO?
When you book through AustinVacay.com, you skip the platform service fees (which can be 10-15% of your total), get direct access to our local team, and unlock exclusive perks like early check-in and discounts.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards through our secure booking platform.

Is there a security deposit?
Security deposit policies vary by property. Any applicable deposit will be clearly stated during the booking process.

Can I cancel or modify my reservation?
Cancellation policies vary by property and are clearly listed on each listing page. Contact us directly and we'll work with you to find the best solution.

Check-In & Check-Out

What time is check-in and check-out?
Standard check-in is at 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, though times may vary by property. Check your booking confirmation for exact times.

How does self check-in work?
Most of our properties feature automated self check-in with smart locks. You'll receive a unique access code before your arrival — no need to meet anyone or pick up keys. You can even book same-day!

Can I request early check-in or late check-out?
Yes! Early check-in and late check-out are available as part of our Perks & Upgrades program, subject to availability.

Properties & Amenities

Are your properties pet-friendly?
The majority of our properties welcome pets! Look for the "Pets Allowed" tag on individual listings. Some properties may have breed or size restrictions.

Do your properties have parking?
Most of our properties include free parking. Several also have EV chargers. Check the amenity list on each property page for details.

Do you have properties with pools or hot tubs?
Yes! Many of our properties feature private pools, hot tubs, or both. Use the swimming pool filter on our search page to find them.

Is WiFi included?
Yes, all of our properties include free high-speed WiFi.

Are your properties suitable for events or large groups?
Some of our larger properties can accommodate groups of up to 14 guests. Contact us for special event inquiries.

Who manages the properties?
All properties are managed by our local Austin team at STR Management. We handle everything from cleaning to maintenance to guest communication.

How many properties do you manage?
We currently manage over 190 properties across Austin, Lake Travis, and Marfa.

How do I contact you if I need help during my stay?
You can reach our team through the messaging system, email, or phone. Our contact information is provided in your booking confirmation and in the property's welcome guide.

Do you offer discounts for longer stays?
