Industrial Artist Loft at Iconic Property

We absolutely LOVED the Artist's Loft at MOTEL Marfa! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We took advantage of all of the amenities, such as the electric sauna and the Cool Ranch Dip as we lovingly called it (bring some ice for a true cold plunge experience!) We cooked over the wood-fired grill, and enjoyed our own private patio with fire pit. For a special couple's experience, we booked the "hot tub," which is a claw-foot tub big enough for two, with hot & cold running water. The tub is situated in a labyrinth-type enclosure which provides privacy and the beauty of the open skies and sounds of Marfa. We enjoyed our special bottle of wine during this and used it as a warm salt soak for two. Highly recommend. All of the amenities are shared with other guests, but with only 5 available suites to choose from, the property feels very private and welcoming. We were very impressed with the attention to detail, the artistic curation, keeping it classy, clean, calm, and utilizing that West Texas resourcefulness that is So Marfa. The succulent landscaping and custom welded permanent shade structures, gates, fences, potted plant pedestals, and so many other details drew our eyes to become very present in the moment, and take in the environment that had been so tastefully curated by the MOTEL Marfa team. Bravo. Additionally, the location is perfectly situated downtown, within walking distance to anything you could need. Highly recommend! Dog Friendly!!!

absolutely enjoyed our time in the artist loft — especially loved the kitchen setup & patio space very centrally located (perfect for event hopping agave fest) bed & bedding very comfortable overall a thoughtfully curated space that was well worth the reservation
