HGTV Featured Tiny Home w Hot Tub Near East 6th St

This is a great place to stay for a quick trip to Austin. Positive: Great little space for a quick stay in Austin. Easy access & central location. Negative: There were only two small issues. The overhead light in the kitchen area didn't work & the water from the sink came out in a trickle.

Pleasant home to stay in within walking distance of some great restaurants and bars.

This property has been well used and could use a little love. We were fine, but if you have any kind of mobility issues, I would not recommend staying here. One bed requires a ladder, and the other is a make-shift stairs with a pretty decent drop from the last step and nothing to hold on to. The larger bed is very close to the ceiling, so if you’re claustrophobic, probably not the stay for you either. Quite a few of the light switches do not work and the water pressure in the bathroom sink is minimal. There is no place to hang or store clothes. It felt a little cluttered in the space. Park at an angle in the parking spot as it is too short to pull straight in. There is also a camera at the door to the home. The outdoor space is lovely and there are plenty of spots to relax. The location is really nice and you can walk to a lot of restaurants. Highly recommend Micklethwaits BBQ and Vera Cruz All Natural tacos.

The tiny home is adorable and was just right for a place to crash like we did. Ames was very communicative and helpful, which was much appreciated. Overall, a great experience and a fantastic location.

The property is nice. Only complaints we had was there wasn’t any hot water and the Jacuzzi can be a little annoying to work. Other than that no complaints. Would recommend and ask the host about those issues before booking.
