Positive: The host was very responsive when I had questions. The apartment was clean and surprisingly quiet. We stayed two nights to go to the ACL festival. The surrounding area seems fun, tho we didnt get a chance to explore it. I wish I would have brought groceries because the kitchen had everything needed to cook. Negative: Parking was MY only issue. I think mostly because im not use to parking garages or bigger cities. The host did give good directions and multiple ways to access the building. I have no doubt I could have called them for help if needed.

It was overall a good stay. The location was great, it was clean, and such an easy check in process. A few things to note the water pressure in the main bedroom was very low. The shower in the guest bathroom had no hot water. Also the communication was lacking. When we got there the TV wasn’t working. I sent a message and didn’t hear back for over 2 hours. We heard a knock on the door and a guy showed up to install a new tv. While that’s great, we weren’t sure if we should let him in. When we decided to, we got a phone call stating someone was going to show up with a new TV. After that was installed a few hours after I received a message telling me how to troubleshoot the old TV. While this is a minor inconvenience, I think communication on this issue could have been a little better and in a timely manner.

Upon arrival, the only television in the unit lost its picture so for our brief stay we weren’t able to watch any television. I called Austin Vacay and told them and they told me they would call me back within the hour and send out a technician. This never happened as I sat around for two hours and didn’t go anywhere so I could be accessible in case they were going to show up. I called Austin Vacay to check and see what was happening and nobody answered so I left a voicemail. Fast forward to the next day, I call again and nobody answers so I leave another voicemail. I then receive an email saying that “we’re sorry we didn’t answer but it only rang once on our side so we assumed you hung up.” Getting in contact with them was a nightmare and the pool code I was given didn’t work and the options on the code was only the numbers 1-5 and they gave me a code with numbers 8 and 9 in it. I couldn’t ever get in contact with anyone for the code or the television. When Austin Vacay called me the day before I checked out, they asked if I was at the property and I told them no because none of the amenities that were listed were actually provided. Due to this, I had to take my friend out the entire days we were there just so we could watch the games. After asking for a refund they offer me a lousy 50 off my entire trip. The room itself was nice but I would not recommend renting anything through Austin Vacay because the entire process was a headache and they provided no real solution.
